Fall 2008 Team AccomplishmentsWindward Baseball Academy 2008 Fall Classic - Champions Triple Crown Fall Classic 2008 - Finalist 2nd Annual Windward Baseball Academy Spring Preview - Champions -The 2nd Annual Windward Baseball Academy Spring Preview was held at The American Legion Field in Alpharetta, Ga, this past weekend, a field of 10 was entered in the 5 day event. The 14U Titans was the winner of the Tournament. They won with a 5 and 0 record, and outscored their opponents 59 to 9. Timely hitting good pitching and good defense was the reason for winning the tournament. The Titans 14U are Coached by Red Martin, Scott White and Tony Dudek.
2009 Accomplishments
6-1-9 14U TITANS Win CABA State
The Titans reach the finals by good hard work and a never say
die attitude, they were tied in the first game by a real good
Sandy Plains Team, and the next game they put away the Georgia
Prospects. The Titans entered the third and most important game
against a VERY good Atlanta Wildcats Team and there they were
equal to the task and defeated them also. They had timely
hitting good defense, with a good mixture of pitching and beat a
VERY Strong 13 Year old Astros Team, it took 9.5 innings to win
this Championship and the win was a total team effort. All of
the players need to be congratulated on their efforts. The EC
Titans 14U record for this tournament was 4-0-1. The Titans now
have won 2 Championships and have one runner-up spot to their
credit for this young Spring/Summer 2009 Season.

Congratulation to 14U East Cobb Titans Champions of 2009 East Cobb USSSA World Series Qualifier
Timely hitting and great pitching and good defense help the
14U EC Titans defeat a great 14U EC Astros Team Sunday in
the Championship Game of the USSSA World Series Qualifier
Tournament @ the East Cobb Complex.
The game was a see-saw affair and no one new until the last
out was made who the victor would be.This was a tremendous
ballgame between 2 of the BEST teams that you will see
anywhere in the 14 and under Division.
The Titans on the way to the Championship Game defeated the
EC Braves 10 to 4, the Alabama team 12 to 3 and shut out a
good Sandy Plains team 4 to 0 and defeated the Astros 10 to
9 for the Championship Game.

Friday night the Titans 14U were in a battle with the
Big Sticks Gamers from McDonough Ga., the score before
the storms hit was 5 to 5, the game was suspended until
the following morning. The Titans won the early
morning game in the bottom of the 7th. 6 to 5. This sent
the Titans into a rematch with the powerfull 14U
EC Astros. Good pitching and good defense help the
Titans prevail over the Astros for the 2nd. time in 2
weeks 4 to 3. Game 3 was no different the Titans went up
against a Big strong Alabama Seminole team and with good
pitching the Titans pulled out the victory 3 to 1. The
semi-final game was even more exciting as the 14U Titans
won 2 to 1 over the scrappy Atlanta Wildcats to set up a
3rd. Game rematch against the strong 14U Astros team.
This time the Titans 14U came up on the short end of the
score as the Astros won 3 to 1. The 14U Titans in 2
weeks won 7 out of 8 games.
