Coach Chance Beam's Coaching Bio

 

Head Coach - Chance Beam

 cbeam@ectitans.com Coach Beam coached at the college level for 3 years prior to moving to Atlanta. The high point of his college experience was coaching at the University of Tennessee during the 2001 season when his team reached the College World Series in Omaha, NB. Tennessee finished 3 rd Nationally that year and had 11 players taken in the MLB draft, of which 2 were first round picks (Chris Burke- Houston Astro's and Wyatt Allen- Chicago White Sox). During his College Coaching tenure he has already coached 17 players to play at the professional level spanning from 1999-2005. After moving to Atlanta, Coach Beam started the Titan program during the summer of 2003. During this tenure, the program has experienced considerable success. Having won 5 National Titles and over 140 players going on to play College or Professional baseball.

  • Assistant Baseball Coach-Carson-Newman College Fall 2001-Spring 2002
    • Instruct, position, and teach catchers and infielders.
  • Assistant Baseball Coach-University of Tennessee Fall 2000- Spring 2001
    • College World Series participant finished 3rd Nationally
    • Facilitate and supervise fundamentals and drills for the catchers, outfielders, and hitters.
    • Cultivate, correspond, and organize recruiting class files. NCAA coaching/ recruiting certified.
  • Head Coach Carolina-Warriors Wooden Bat Baseball Team Summer 2000
    • 2000 Southern Collegiate Baseball League Manager of the Year.
    • 2000 SCBL League runner-up and Tournament Champion.
  • Head Assistant Coach-North Greenville College December 1999- May 2000
    • Implemented entire program for the Pitching staff including strength and conditioning and taught fundamentals to the catchers, outfielders, and the pitching staff.
  • Sports Academy January 2000- August 2000
  • Internship Lander University Assistant JV Baseball Coach 1998-Spring 1999
    • Managed and organized daily practice schedule. · Instructed hitters on fundamentals and mental approach.

 

  Coach Beam lives in Marietta, Georgia and is married to Christine Beam and has two daughter Brooke Avery Beam and Baylor Grace Beam.
